Tenuta Il Quinto, new winery

The project combines and places two constraints at the base of the architectural composition: one imposed by the client and one imposed by the heritage commission.
While the client had expressed the desire to make the entire building virtually invisible from the pre-existing farmhouses, the heritage commission imposed the need to integrate the intervention with the landscape.

The result is a project of 2000 square meters completely integrated into the existing hill by following its slope, using the existing road system as a starting point for the new one, where the only element visible from the pre-existing farmhouses is the entrance.
In this way, the project becomes on one hand an integral part of the landscape and on the other a place to be discovered little by little by avoiding any monumental attitude.
